| The Course at Mt. Pleasant Country Club
At Mount Pleasant Country Club we offer a beautiful, 18-hole, 6550 yard, par 72 championship golf course. It's the pride of the club and the perfect choice for your next golf tournament or company outing. Our course has 4 set of tees to suit any playing ability as well as a driving range, practice facilities, golf shop, and a Club Pro. Golf Course News
As the temperatures slowly climb out of the 30s this winter we are looking back on some of the projects that have been finished the past few months.
We added some sprinklers left of #1 fairway to help make the area more playable between the cart path and out of bounds. This project was made possible by donations by members and we would like to send our thank you to these people.
The bottom of #7 fairway will be much more friendly this spring and summer, providing it doesn't rain the entire year, by being drier and easier to play from after our sod takes root and covers the new drainage we added.
Drainage pipes around #3 green are still in the works and will be complete as soon as possible when it dries up enough to get the pipe out without making a larger mess than needed. This will involve replacing part of the 8" pipe just below the cypress trees. We will also add another pipe, to catch the surface water, in front of the green and allow us to mow a larger area for shot reception.
We are excited about the coming year and anticipate good condidtions for growth on the course. Our tentative aerification schedule is posted in the men's card room at the club and it will shift and change as weather permits.
